You tend to get bored of having the same wallpaper for a certain period of time so applications are developed to help you switch between wallpapers automatically.
Such is the case of Wallpaper Manager. It’s a simple to use tool that allows you to load multiple images and set them as wallpapers in a simple manner.
The application displays a more than comprehensive interface that makes it a cinch to use by anyone. From the main window you can load the files and view them in a neat list. The images can be loaded from different folders on your computer and are displayed in the same list. To preview a wallpaper, you simply have to click on it in the list and it is automatically displayed.
When you get to an image you like, you can set it as a wallpaper directly from the application just by clicking a button. Since there is a chance that not all the images are the same size and once set as wallpapers they look different, Wallpaper Manager enables you to choose the mode in which the image is applied. You can choose to stretch it, center it or place it as tiles.
Wallpaper Manager enables you to save all the loaded background images so you can switch between them any time you want. But in order to do so you have to save the entries in a TXT file and open it when you run the application. If you forget to save them, you have to reload all of them when you open Wallpaper Manager.
With all the images loaded, you can also set the application to cycle through them. It enables you to change the wallpaper every hour, day, week and month.
In closing, Wallpaper Manager is a nice little app to have on your computer when you want to make your desktop background less dull.
