WebAlbumWizard Description
Chances are that you work with pictures on a daily basis as your main resource for activities. Be it for leisure or business purposes, galleries help you keep an organized layout for all your creations. As such, WebAlbumWizard comes as a powerful tool which allows you to build HTML picture galleries with little effort.
Pictures need to be in a single folder
As soon as setup is done, and this takes little time and effort, you’re free to take the application for a spin. The visual design isn’t really something to make it stand out from the crowd, but aesthetics aren’t of any concern here, but rather the end result. There might be, however, some times when you scratch your head because of overwhelming configuration windows.
Before anything can be displayed, you need to select a source folder. Note, however, that subdirectories are not included in the process, so you need to make sure that all pictures you want to use are in a single directory. If you wish, the application can generate all required code files in the same folder, or you can opt to create the project in a separate folder.
Good, but far from being a pro
There’s the possibility to include EXIF data as picture details, and even pick sorting method. The application can generate thumbnails before building the project just to save some time when navigating. There’s a set of controls dedicated to thumbnails, letting you adjust almost all size and quality specifications.
The only downside to the whole operation is that there’s no instant preview section, so you need to build a project before you can actually get an idea of how it looks like. On the other hand, the program does include several skin templates, with the possibility to customize colors and font used, process which is easier once you build your first gallery.
To end with
Bottom line is that with most content and info nowadays accessed online, WebAlbumWizard comes with the right means to help you migrate pictures as a whole, and put them up for display in a cool fashion. Sadly, getting just the right visual and technical configuration is more of a trial and error because of the lack of a preview section.
