WebKut Description

Every default keyboard comes with a button which captures all activity on screen and sends the picture to the clipboard. Screenshots are a common computer practice, and you might just need to extract content from web pages without including the browser window. In this regard, WebKut can grab entire pages, or custom selections.

Visually appealing and easy to use

The application comes in a lightweight package, and it doesn’t take a lot of time to get it installed on your computer. However, you do need to have Adobe AIR on your system both to install and run the program.
Features are wrapped around a classic window frame, but fitted with custom design elements which make visuals pretty appealing. There’s a built-in browser which uses most of the interface space as the preview area. The entire operation is structured in a couple of steps, with an optional third one to configure output.

Save to various formats

Sadly, the browser doesn’t properly read modern types of content, and this also has an effect on output pictures. Capturing can be done for the entire page, with warning when pages are large, the current view which fits in the window’s size, or a selection box you can adjust and place over the area of interest.
Although files aren’t automatically saved to file, you only need to confirm after specifying the name. The settings menu allows you to choose output format with options like JPG, GIF, PNG, and even PDF. Image ratio can be adjusted, and you can set a default save location for files. New names are always generated so nothing is replaced even if you don’t change the name.

A few last words

Bottom line is that WebKut bundles together a few, but practical tools with which to extract an entire page as a picture. Capture region can be customized, while output formats and settings make it possible to generate popular picture types.
