Modern web browsers usually come with an abundance of features, which are not really required in all browsing situations, and can use resources for no reason. There’s also the scenario where needed features are not in the default set. As such, WeekCalendar enables the use of basic, and advanced time management options in Maxthon.
A mandatory requirement is Maxthon, because the plugin can’t integrate in any other web browser. Setup takes little time, and the plugin comes in the form of a sidebar item, which can be left to auto-hide, or kept visible at all times.
By default, the calendar, and clock are the only elements which show up. However, several other utilities can be enlisted below the calendar. Built-in tools refer to date calculus, general day information, sun and moon position info, timezone configuration, as well as alarm setup.
The main calendar is interactive, with every clicked day displaying related info like number of day in the current week, the year, week counter, and more. Custom reminders can be added to each day, with international holidays already marked on the calendar.
Date calculus can be performed to view days in between dates, number of days to a particular date, as well as subtracting from, or adding to a selected date. Values are modified on the spot, and results shown in real time.
Sun and Moon information are accessed from separate sections, and refer to dedicated astronomical values. Day, or night duration, illumination percentage, azimuth, distance, solar noon, rise, phase, and more values are constantly updated from online trusted sources.
