WebSurge makes it easy to capture a series of URL requests and lets you play them back under a load that you configure. Use the built-in capture tool, use Teleriks Fiddler or manually create a session using plain text HTTP headers in a text file. WebSurge provides full access to the HTTP protocol - you can capture plain HTML requests, AJAX, REST or SOAP Service requests, SSL requests - even API requests from your Windows applications. And unlike online testing services you can run WebSurge locally on one or more machines inside of your Firewall or on your private VPN. Once a session has been captured specify the number of threads to run and length of time to run your session and youre off! While running an ongoing tally of requests and stats is provided, and when the load test is complete results are summarized for you.
