Whisper32 Description
Whisper32 is a software designed you help you manage your passwords from various applications and services.
The interface of the tool is plain and simple to navigate through. You can add a new entry into the database by providing the service name, user name and password.
But you can also generate a random password after specifying settings (e.g. can contain digits, symbols and characters, is generated using a custom mask).
Furthermore, you can set an expiration date for the respective entry, as well as write a memo for yourself.
Additionally, you can password-protect your current project, save it as a Whisper32 file or export it to CSV, add or edit an entry, as well as copy the user name and password to clipboard.
Moreover, you can open a URL, view the memo, use the undo and cut functions, print the sheet, change the font style and size, sort entries, as well as immediately lock the program.
In the "Options" menu, you can disable Whisper32 from showing passwords in the list, warning if files are not password-protected and from clearing the clipboard on exit. Plus, you can set it to minimize to system tray, use backup extensions, set the default expiration period for the password, and more.
The simple tool takes up a low amount of system resources and didn't pop up any errors during our tests. Unfortunately, we were unable to access the help file. Also, the interface strongly requires some upgrades. Otherwise, Whisper32 is a good program for storing your passwords, although it doesn't offer anything out of the ordinary.
