Win-Tools Description

It can get a little frustrating when you want to keep particular windows in focus, but there’s no option to make them stay on top of everything else, and there’s no default function to solve this. However, developers came up with different solutions, and Win-Tools is a suitable example here, also allowing you to set position.

Can be used on the go

A cool thing about it is that it doesn’t take you through a setup process, and allows you to take it for a spin as soon as download is done. More than that, you have the liberty to have it stored on a thumb drive in case you want to use it on other computers besides your own, without having to worry about the health status, because registry entries remain intact.
The application comes with two components, both bundled inside a clean, intuitive window. These are used to make specific windows stay on top of everything else, as well as to set a position. Both of these functions can be easily triggered through hotkeys, but you have no control over assigned buttons.

Easy trigger of actions

Making a window sit on top of others isn’t a difficult task. First of all, you need to have it in focus, and then press the assigned hotkey command. You can then see the window inside Win-Tools, and a double-click operation makes it a regular window again.
As mentioned, there’s also a component through which to position windows easily. There are different predefined spots, each triggered through a different combination of keys. Just as the previous mode, action needs to be done when the window of interest is in focus.

A few last words

Taking everything into consideration, we can state that Win-Tools is a nifty little tool you can use to make your workspace more efficient. It quietly sits in the tray area during use, so you can manage windows of interest through comfortable hotkey commands.
