Win4Web Browser Deluxe

The web browser software section is clearly dominated by a few big names, but there are numerous, smaller navigators that try to meet one or more requirements of users. One example is Win4Web Browser Deluxe, an Internet browser that focuses on the additional tools that some other similar utilities do not bundle, such as an integrated video downloader or a RSS reader.
The interface is not the best we've seen in this software category as far as the looks are concerned, but it is intuitive enough to allow anyone to use the browser without facing significant difficulties.
As expected, it comprises the address bar, navigation buttons, the search pane and allows you to open multiple webpages at the time time, each within a separate tab. It also includes a small banner displaying recent news extracted from various online sources.
Shortcut buttons to some of the most popular social websites (Facebook, Twitter or Tuenti) are the 'novelty', to say so, but it is not like you couldn't bookmark these pages for quicker access in another web browser.
The application bundles a favorites manager to help you manage frequently opened webpages and features browsing history. The currently visited URL can be saved as a HTML document on your computer, while the home page and the default search engine are options that can be configured from the 'Settings' window.
The built-in video downloader allows you to save content locally in FLV, MP4 or AVI format, as well as extract the audio and export it as an MP3 file. Furthermore, the package bundles a Youtube video player that helps you watch clips without accessing the actual webpage.
Win4Web Browser Deluxe comes with a few tools that could prove useful, but its lack of basic features (such as security features or an integrated download manager for any type of files, not just videos) might determine users to search for alternatives. Furthermore, during our tests, the browser crashed a few times, which makes us doubt its reliability.
