WinDiets Description

WinDiets is a suite of tools based on the UK and US nutrition databases that provides extensive nutritional analysis capability. WinDiets is currently used by health professionals working for Hospitals and Health Care Institutes, Education and Research Institutes, Health and Fitness Centres, and Sport and Lifestyle publications. Some of the basic nutrition features of WinDiets include interactive screens with nutrient amounts shown as grades of colour intensity, 7-day activity diary to illustrate energy use during the day and calculate energy requirements. Compare meals to UK Department of Health dietary reference values (DRV). Compare meal, recipe, day or week to DRVs with % energy from macronutrients and millimoles (mmol).
