Windows Help Program for Windows Server 2008

WinHlp32.exe is a Windows Help program that enables you to open and view Windows 32-bit Help files with the .hlp file extension. This software update gets quickly installed on your computer with minimal effort on your behalf.
It gives you the possibility to access the Help Contents and Index section of any application that integrates a user manual using this Microsoft standard, as well as to avoid the "Feature not included" or "Help not supported" error when attempting to open these files.
This Windows Update with the KB917607 code is available for Windows Server 2008 only (x64 and x86). Although the same code is listed for Windows 8.1, 8, 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2, and Vista, the OS editions do not share the same installer, so make sure to download and set up the Help program suitable for your Windows version.
The WinHlp32.exe utility was included in Microsofts operating system starting with Windows 3.1. Unfortunately, it hasnt received major updates for a very long time, and it no longer meets the companys standards. This is why it was excluded from the operating systems built-in features, starting with Windows Vista.
