All users who installed at least once Windows on their PCs are well aware of the importance of having a good startup media to begin with. Back in the days when the installation had to be carried out exclusively from floppy disks it was a real deal-breaker to have one malfunctioning diskette, because the whole process had to be carried out from the beginning most of the times.
