WinTG Description
With the evolution of technology and social network activity which boosts all domains of activity, advice is commonly sought online. Help and research can also come in the form of questionnaires. Dedicated to this purpose, WinTG helps you create a quiz, test, or survey you can then share with others.
Advantages of a portable app
Since setup is not among the steps you take to make the application work, you can go ahead and launch it as soon as download is done. More than this, it can also be deployed on a thumb drive in case you want to use it on other computers. This is an advantage mostly because a test can’t be initiated without running the application first.
There’s no default test to work with so you first need to take the time to create a new database. Luckily, it is stored under the MDB format you can edit with other programs as well. Things can get a little tricky when creating the set of questions though, mostly because of the rough design and abundance of variables to include, which are not necessarily required.
Various data input fields
Split into different tabs, the creation window takes you through questions, answers, extra data, variables, keyboard, language, properties and administrator. Remember to save every item you create or edit, because changes are discarded even if selecting a different item from a list. Questions can have one or more correct answers, but there’s no support for pictures or audio files.
Whenever you want to initiate a particular test you need to be sure the database file is in the program’s source directory, otherwise the function remains grayed out. The test itself takes you through the preset series of questions, with statistics always in plain sight, as well as a progress slider.
On an ending note
All things considered, we can state that WinTG comes with a decent set of tools to create questionnaires. Sadly, these can’t be published under more comfortable formats or shared online, and it can take a bit of time and patience to carefully create a set of questions.
