Word Count Machine has a good response time and worked smoothly during our evaluation, showing accurate data. However, it crashed whenever we attempted to open a file with unsupported data (such as images in a Word document).
We must also take into account that the tool has not been updated for a long time. Otherwise, it comes packed with simple and intuitive options for calculating word frequencies in text files, and can be used by anyone.
