Wordstat

WordStat is a text analysis module designed specifically for analyzing textual data, such as journal articles, literary works, and interviews. The various examples of text can be categorized automatically using a dictionary approach or manually through assignment to classes. Further analysis can then be done using cross-tabulation and Keyword in Context (KWIC) as well as sophisticated statistical methods such as clustering and multidimensional scaling. Existing dictionaries or categorization schemes can then be applied to new pieces of text.
