WowBase

WowBase is a lightweight software application whose purpose is to help you create a database by recording and organizing the information with the aid of cards.
The program doesn’t implement the usual method for constructing a database with the aid of multiple rows but it provides an interactive way for entering text, Boolean records, numbers, memos and images.

User interface and importing/exporting options

It sports a clean and simple layout that allows you to structure the information using multiple records which appear in the final table.
You can duplicate the last record, print or save the information to a file so you can easily import it in your future projects, as well as import data from CSV, TXT, TSV or TAB file format. Additionally, you may export data to CSV, HTML or WWB file format.

Table structure

WowBase gives you the possibility to define a new database by building up the table structure. You are given the freedom to insert boxes that may contain text, numbers, Boolean expressions, memos, images, date and time stamps, filenames, paths, and breaks for starting a new line in the record.
What’s more, you can add horizontal dividing lines, two columns used for visual separation, collapse buttons which allow you to hide some fields, as well as comments for describing elements and inserting notes in the text, and logical frames for grouping and organizing data into a tree structure.
The program is also able to detect if there are errors in the new table structure and recommends you to go back in order to make the necessary changes.
You can undo or redo your actions, cut, copy, paste or delete the selected items, and carry out searches. Last but not least, you can embed additional signs that mark information, important items and questions, and embed tables and custom photos from your computer (JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, ICO, CUR).

Editing options and configuration settings

When it comes to configuration settings, you can make the application show or hide group headings, text on buttons and tooltips, reveal information messages, hints, warnings and errors, enable sound notifications, print data, name elements when they are created, as well as alter the editor appearance by downloading and installing new themes.
