Ximagic Denoiser Description

Ximagic Denoiser (64-Bit) is a Photoshop plug-in for image noise reduction. Ximagic Denoiser provides seven different methods for noise reduction, which are median (Std/Center Weighted), gauss (Std/Bilateral), DWT (Overcomplete Wavelets), CWT (Complex wavelets), DCT (Discrete cosine), NLM (Non Local Means), and non-linear (anisotropic) diffusion (Curvature & Gradient). Image noise is an undesirable by-product of image capture that adds spurious and extraneous information. In the area of image noise reduction, there is more than one valid algorithm, it depends on the type of the image, the noise the image has and the desired result. As with any other 8bf file plug-in, you can install the plug-in with these steps. Put the 8bf file into one of the folders were your plug-in host look for plug-ins or add the folder were you put the 8bf file to the ones that the plug-in host look for plug-ins.

Version 4.8.1 has fixed v 4.8.0 which doesnt work on windows XP (due to InitializeCriticalSectionEx).
