The videos are automatically saved to a preset folder where Xvideocapture is stored. By default, they are exported to AVI file format, this one being the only output format supported by the program.
Tests have shown that Xvideocapture carries out a task quickly and delivers very good output results. It is not a resource hog so you do not have to worry that it hampers your computer’s performance. On the downside, it is not able to generate recordings with different filenames so it overwrites the last recorded clip.
