Setup and prerequisites

The installation procedure is fast and requires minimal attention on your behalf, thanks to the fact that the setup has familiar wizard steps. Although the developer intended the patch for computers running Windows XP, Vista or 7, it can actually be installed on any Windows machine with Yahoo! Messenger installed.
You should keep in mind that it's compatible with Yahoo! Messenger 11.5, 11.0, 10.0 and 9.0. An important aspect is that you have to make sure you're downloading the right version, since the patches are available in separate files for all these editions.

It might be necessary to temporarily disable User Account Control in order to set up Yahoo! Messenger Turkce Yama, as well as to restart the computer to commit modifications.
The patch gets copied to the "en-US" subfolder of "resources" in Yahoo! Messenger's installed directory. In order to remove it, you can delete its files. Evidently, it gets automatically eliminated when uninstalling YM.
