YAPP

If you like working with images, then you've surely tried out the default Paint application on Windows computer. The program is useful for making some changes to images and drawing on photos.
However, if you're looking for an alternative, YAPP could be a solution. It's a neat and fluent application that has some of the features that Paint offers, but it also has some of its own.

Modern and fluent graphical interface

The application installs quickly and it sports a really modern and intuitive graphical interface with many nice tools at hand. It doesn't have any customization options, but you wouldn't really need them since the interface is really nice and sleek.
It also lacks instructions or any kind of tips on how to use the application. Still, you can work on multiple images at the same time, as they'd be arranged into tabs.

Draw on your images easily

You simply need to use the drag and drop feature in order to load images from your computer. You can also draw on blank canvases, but it doesn't allow you to adjust the background color. You can pick from multiple drawing tools, including a pointer, rectangle, ellipse, looper, outliner and a color drop.
Moreover, it allows you to draw shapes including circles, rectangles and more. You can add text on your images and copy the information if you want. However, it doesn't allow you to change the text style or format.

Some more tools

It lets you draw lines, use multiple pens, brushfill, clone, flood fill and filter pen tools. It also allows you to adjust some settings, like the shape and size of the brush. You can rotate images and apply multiple filters to them.
It also lets you choose from multiple image sizes, but you can't use the mouse scroll in order to zoom in on pictures. It allows you to add multiple layers to images and you can print your pictures easily.
All in all, YAPP is a really useful application for drawing on images and making some adjustments to them. However, it could use some more tools and features.
