YASA DVD to VCD Converter Description
YASA DVD to VCD Converter is an application which enables you to encode DVDs to the VCD profile or simply to the MPEG format. It can be easily used by individuals of any experience level.
The interface of the software is plain and easy to work with. You can import DVDs into the list by using the file browser or treeview only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is allowed.
In the queue you can check out the filename, target type, duration and destination filename of each DVD. So, all you have to do is establish the output profile and directory, in order to proceed with the encoding job.
But you can also modify audio and video settings when it comes to the bit rate, frame rate and size, aspect ratio, sample frequency rate, channel mode, volume and others, as well as edit metadata (e.g. copyright, title, comment), set a timestamp, select the camera angle and subtitle, enable audio and video synchronization, and others.
The DVD encoding software can take a while to complete a task while using a moderate amount of system resources. It has a good response time, supports several skins for the interface and manages to keep a fair image and sound quality in the output videos. There's also a very short help file that you can look into. Putting aside the fact that the interface is outdated and that you cannot select individual DVD chapters for processing, we recommend YASA DVD to VCD Converter to all users.
