yPlay Description
yPlay is a program designed to play audio tracks with several extensions, including MP3, OGG, WMA and WAV.
Upon initialization, you can set the path to the music directory, allow yPlay to include subdirectories in the scan, change the interface skin and check for updates.
The interface of the application is simplistic, so you shouldn't have any problems in getting around its features.
In the playlist you can check out the name, date, size, duration, bit rate, artist, title, album and track of each file.
Basic audio player tools that you can use include “pause†and “stopâ€. Plus, you can navigate back and forth within the track, as well as enable repeat mode for the current song.
Furthermore, you can toggle between normal and compact view, create, rename, rescan and delete playlists, edit track details and copy the selected files to another location.
On top of that, you can rename files manually or by using tags, randomize and clear the list, change the font style and size, write a M3U playlist by using the selected files, delete audio tracks from the hard drive, and more.
yPlay takes up a moderate amount of system resources and has a very good response time. It didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests and can be easily used by all levels.
Putting aside the simplistic interface and the fact that there is no help file available, we strongly recommend yPlay to all users who prefer a straightforward application to a complex one.
