Zorro Description
In case you have a will of steel, it’s close to impossible to concentrate on a task with the Internet bugging you from the browser window active next to your workspace. However, solutions might be easier than you realize. For instance, Zorro can hide areas of the desktop for you, make them unusable, so you can focus on tasks at hand.
Set a hotkey for easy trigger
The main window can feel a little confusing, especially since it’s only fitted with an empty, transparent window frame, and a set of menu items. This is only natural, because the are inside the frame remains unaffected, while the rest of your screen is dimmed. On the other hand, you can choose to only dim what’s inside the frame.
Before you activate the application, it’s best to take the time to configure the trigger hotkey, otherwise you risk getting stuck with little management space, and the Task Manager can’t help you out, unless it shows up in a visible spot. Sadly, you can only use the Win special key, with a high chance to specify a combination already in use, but you’re notified if this is the case.
Multiple area configuration options
The application can be set to run with Windows, and hide to tray area to only activate when necessary. It can disable screensaver for more comfort, apply a cool fade effect when triggered, hide taskbar, and cursor behind the veil, or whether or not to show coordinates.
Window size configuration is done manually, by simply dragging the edges, and moving it around the desktop. However, there are also some quick options to center it to screen, or snap it to one of the screen edges. Additionally, you can pick one of the several resolution presets.
To end with
Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Zorro is sure to help you focus on active tasks, especially since it makes items, and window under the veil unusable. It’s easy to configure, with a simple option to mold on a specific window, with changeable color option, and hotkey support for instant trigger.
