Zulu - English Dictionary

Zulu – English Dictionary is a software application that can help English speakers look up word translations in the Zulu language, or the other way around.
The interface is quite user-friendly, and it is built on three tabs, which enable you to toggle the Zulu dictionary, the English one and a parallel view of both. Aside from that, the UI contains a menu bar and a few shortcut buttons, for quick access to all the options available.
The software utility contains a search function, so that you can easily find translations, by inputting a keyword. You can add certain parameters to the scan, such as looking only for whole words or enabling it to match case.
It is possible to zoom in and out of the view, or restore the default one. In addition to that, the program enables you to start a web or image search on Google, directly from the main window.
Languages can be swapped, the application can be switched to a full screen mode, the view between the two dictionaries can be linked, while the tray icon and the Word plugin can be toggled.
This utility does not contain Help contents, yet seeing how easy it is to use it, it becomes apparent that they are not actually needed.
All in all, Zulu – English Dictionary is a useful piece of software which proves to be useful for people interested in learning the Zulu or English language, with a good response time. We did not register any bugs, crashes or errors during our tests.
