Zulu Description

The Zulu application was designed to be a light-weight, small-footprint program that will help you determine what time it is in other time zones. It starts up showing your local time, from which you can quickly and easily go from time zone to time zone. This is a very handy tool in this age of instant global communication! Now when you call someone, or chat with them, or even just e-mail, youll know what time it is "over there."
To use the calculator function, enter a time as it would be in the other time zone (whatever you currently have configured as the time offset), and then click either the 24 hour format or the AM/PM format to see what that time is in your own time zone.
For example, if you have the time offset to be +3 hours and you type in 13:00, clicking the 24 hour format will display 10:00, meaning that 13:00 in the other time zone would be 10:00 in your time zone.
When you close Zulu, it will remember the time offset that you last used. The next time you launch Zulu, it will start with that offset. This makes it very convenient to set the offset to be Greenwich Mean Time (GMT or Zulu, thus the program name), and use the program as a quick GMT reference for Ham radio or other applications.
Or, if you have a friend overseas, you can readily find out what time it is for him or her before you dial the phone!
