A Video Manager Description

A Video Manager is a lightweight application whose purpose is to help users organize their video collection in different categories.
It sports a clean and simplistic layout that allows you to perform most operations with minimum effort.
A Video Manager gives you the possibility to create multiple groups, rename or delete them, as well as import data by specifying a user-defined folder.
What’s more, each group can be customized by uploading a video file from the computer (e.g. FLV, AVI, MKV, OGM, MP4, WMV, MPEG), providing details about the name of the clip, episode name and number, season number, and selecting the video and audio codec.
The application lets you insert URLs from YouTube and Hulu, add names and comments for DVDs, and perform search operations for finding videos or groups.
Other important features worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to view information about the selected video in a dedicated pane (e.g. name, episode number, audio codec), play the current file, edit the information about each clip, as well as delete the items from a group.
Last but not least, A Video Manager enables you to play the selected video on a double-click, select the highlighting color for the last watched video, search for more information about a video on IMDb or other service via your default web browser, and change the name of the columns (e.g. name, episode).
During our testing we have noticed that A Video Manager carries out a task quickly and without errors throughout the entire process. It doesn’t eat up a lot of CPU and memory, so the overall performance of the computer is not hampered.
All in all, A Video Manager seems to be the right choice in case you are looking for an easy-to-use program that comes bundled with limited features for helping you manage your video collection. It cannot compete with other powerful tools on the market, as it lacks support for advanced functions, such as an automatic mode for retrieving data about each video and artwork, just to name a few suggestions.
