Moreover, you may easily add or remove reservations to the database, by filling in the specified form. Aside from the guest’s contact details, you need to specify how many persons wish to stay and how many rooms they wish to reserve. The check-in and check-out procedures are easily managed, based on the guests already featuring in the database. You may also print reports about the housekeeping status.

Back-office management and interface inconsistency

The secondary menu offers you access to the administrative side of the business. The software can generate detailed reports, fare tables, prospective management sheets. Moreover, you can monitor the products’ inventory, room prices, seasonal prices, opening and closing, payment methods, minibar restocking and employees’ schedule.
While ABACUS - Checker allows you quick access to all its functions, its interface is difficult to manage or to resize. The tool tips are disabled, which makes the software’s usage rather counter intuitive, especially for those who are not used to it. Moreover,the data you enter is not always saved, meaning you need to fill the fields in again each time.
