AC3 Delay Corrector

AC3 Delay Corrector is a compact tool that allows you to correct the audio synchronization of any AC3 file. You can use this tool to make corrections to the files that contain a movie sound track encoded using the AC3 audio codec.
The program allows you to add frames at the beginning of the file in order to compensate the sound delay. The delay is entered in milliseconds and allows you to be precise when performing a sound synchronization.
You can decrease or increase the sound delay by entering positive or negative values the Start-delay field in order to get the desired result. Unless you know exactly how many seconds or frames you have to add or remove, it is a trial and error process that can take some time. It is recommended to back up your data since the program cannot undo the modifications and actually removes or adds a few seconds of the audio file with each test.
The information area displays useful information about the file that can help you calculate the exact time interval in order to synchronize the sound file. Before starting to adjust the file you might want to check the details about the file sampling rate and the total length of the audio track.
The interface of the program is easy to understand and requires no previous experience in audio editing. Since it does not include a help file, you might need to test different settings in order to get accustomed with the settings. Unfortunately, it does not include the option to save the settings if you want to apply the same corrections to other AC3 files.
AC3 Delay Corrector requires insignificant resources to run and the file adjustments only take a few seconds. It provides the basic functions of a sound adjustment utility so you should try it when you need to make corrections to AC3, MPA or DTS files.
