F.C.E. Media Player

F.C.E. Media Player is a useful piece of software that helps you watch video and listen to audio files.
The interface of the program is a bit outdated, reminding people of the Windows 98 or 95 classical design. It is also user-friendly, which means that anyone can learn how to work with it, no matter their previous experience with computers.
The main window has a tab-like structure, which enables you to easily switch from the player to the playlist and Help contents. The player screen displays a few button controls (play and stop), volume bar and options such as shuffle, repeat and start playing music automatically, so as to enhance usability. “Previous” and “Next” buttons are not available anywhere in the program. This can be considered a flaw, seeing that users cannot skip a file or go to the previous one.
The application helps you create and save playlists with an unlimited number of audio or video files. A small drawback here is the fact that the program does not incorporate the “drag and drop” feature. Moreover, the order of the files cannot be changed when creating a playlist.
The application supports a various number of different formats such as MP3, AVI, MOV, MP4, MKV, WAV and WMV. When opening and listening to audio files, F.C.E. Media Player displays an oscillator.
A bug was detected in our tests, on Windows 8 64-bit. If you click “Add to Playlist” and not select an item, the last ones you have uploaded are going to be appear in the list.
Although F.C.E. Media Player has an outdated interface, it proves to be useful and helpful when trying to play movies or songs.
