Moreover, you must have the Aero effect enabled. If you experience any issues in this regard, you can ask the OS to check and fix them, such as decreased color depth or disabled Desktop Window Manager.
Once installed, Aero QLaunch gets integrated into the taskbar, and it can be disabled by opening the "Toolbars" submenu of the taskbar's right-click menu. It displays an icon next to the icons in the systray, which you have to hover to reveal the 3D shortcuts.

Add shortcuts to manage 3D icons

The default shortcuts include Internet Explorer, show desktop, and switch between windows. However, you can remove any of these entries from the list, as well as add new ones by simply copying the shortcuts to the "Quick Launch" folder.
