Amigo Easy Video Converter

Amigo Easy Video Converter is a software that you can use to encode video files of several formats, including AVI, MPG, RM, MOV, MP4 and 3GP.
The interface of the application is very plain and simple to use. You can import media by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported (but batch processing is).
So, you can select the mode (single or batch mode) and conversion type (e.g. all movie to AVI).
But you can also input the videos and set the output directory.
On top of that, you can configure audio and video settings when it comes to the codecs, wide and height, bit rate, frame rate, sample frequency rate (optionally add a letter box to preserve the aspect ratio), and others.
In the single mode, you can also specify the output file name and preview the source video in a small built-in media player.
In the list you can view the source file, output destination and conversion type. So, you can press the "Go" button to initiate the conversion process.
The program requires a low amount of system resources and quickly finishes a conversion task. The image and sound quality in the output files is very good.
However, Amigo Easy Video Converter crashed several times during our tests, when attempting to encode some videos with the MPG and 3GP extensions. Also, the demo version display a watermark on the output files. And the interface is outdated, so improvements are welcomed.
All in all, Amigo Easy Video Converter is a decent program for video conversion and we can only suggest you test it for yourself.
