Analyze Lite Description

Analyze Lite is a small-sized software tool made to protect your computer from the autorun virus which is usually found on pen drives. It especially comes in handy when a lot of people have access to your PC, since any of them may unwillingly infect it by plugging in a flash drive.

No setup necessary

The app is not wrapped in an installation file, which makes it portable. It means that you can save it anywhere on the disk and just click it to run. Unlike most installer programs, this one doesn't modify Windows registry entries, so it doesn't increase the risk of system stability issues.

Simple UI and options

The interface is represented by a small window with a plain looks that contains just a few options. Protection from the autorun virus is activated with one click, which triggers the program to create a system tray icon.
This guard can be just as easily disabled, and this event causes the tray icon to become invisible. Apart from the fact that you can integrate Analyze Lite into the Windows autostart sequence as well as remove it later, there are no other notable features available here.

Evaluation and conclusion

As expected, the app's impact on computer performance was minimal in our tests, thanks to the fact that it required low CPU and RAM to work properly. It didn't hang, crash or pop up error messages, and activated and deactivated autorun protection without delay.
On the other hand, the tool hasn't been updated for a pretty long time, so it may have compatibility issues with some operating systems, especially more recent Windows versions. Perhaps you should resort to a more up-to-date app that can deal with the tricky autorun infection.
