AoA Video Downloader is a simple-to-use software program that facilitates clip downloading from various video hosting websites such as YouTube.
It sports an intuitive configuration set that can be tweaked by any users, even the ones with limited or no experience in such applications.
Installing the app does not take a long time. However, users should be careful not to get unwanted products, as AoA Video Downloader offers to download and install third-party modules that are not mandatory for its proper functioning.
The interface is not particularly attractive but fairly simple to navigate, as the entire downloading procedure is broken down into three steps.
So, you can get started by pasting the video URL in a dialog box and letting the program analyze it to reveal quality streams. All you have to do is select an entry based on preferred format, quality and bit rate, and click a button to send it to the downloading queue immediately.
From the download lists area you can view all active tasks, cancel one job or all of them, as well as open the output directory in Explorer. There are no other notable options provided by this program.
Unfortunately, AoA Video Downloader failed in its attempt to retrieve videos from several YouTube URLs during our evaluation. It has a good response time, though, and uses pretty low CPU and RAM, so it does not slow down overall performance. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, the app can be handled even by novices.
