ASTER is an intuitive application that enables you to turn your computer into a multi-user station, which supports two or more people operating on it at the same time. The software allows you to create a special configuration, in which all users can work independently as if they had their own computer.

One computer, multiple monitors

ASTER allows you to create a multi-user configuration for one single computer. Thus two or more people can, for instance play video games in PvP mode, use separate applications at home, at school, in the office, in banks, post offices, check-out/check-in points or in public institutions, such as libraries, museums and reading rooms.
In other words, you can use a single computer, to which you connect several monitors and controller sets (keyboard, mouse), for each user, respectively. This configuration is possible if the station features several USB slots and videocards. VGA, DVI, HMDI or DP videocards are all supported. Once ASTER is installed and the multiple workplaces are configured, the software displays a different desktop for each user.

Setup visual schemes and shared IP addresses

The ASTER control panel allows you to view all the available input controllers and corresponding USB port, along with a short description for each device. Moreover, you can view a list of the installed videocards or enable the usage of the same graphic card in a multiple monitor setup. You may also view all the available audio devices, logon details and shared IP. You can setup either of the workplaces, so that its programs use a certain IP address. Also, you may create a lit of all the applications that use the common IP address.

Several users working at the same computer simultaneously

ASTER is a powerful, yet simple to use application that enables several users to work on a single computer independently and simultaneously. The multi-user configuration allows each person to work independently, at the same time with the others. Basically, you only share the computer’s resources and hardware devices such as printers, scanners. Otherwise, ASTER allows you to setup multiple monitors, controllers or audio cards.
