The original sound quality can be preserved. Otherwise, you can opt for very high, high, medium, low, very low, or a custom bit rate (32, 64, 128, 256, 512, or 1024kps).
The task can be initialized with the click of a button and just as easily stopped if you change your mind or if it takes too long. Afterward, you can launch the new tracks in an audio player to inspect quality results. There are no other noteworthy options provided by this app.

Evaluation and conclusion

Conversion tasks were carried out quickly in our tests, during which the software application remained light on system resources consumption, thanks to the fact that it needed a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. No error dialogs popped up and it didn't hang or crash.
Although it doesn't look much, Audio Encoder delivers a speedy and uncomplicated solution for performing audio file conversion. It's free and intuitive enough to be figured out by inexperienced users.
