Audio Format Switch is a useful and easy-to-use piece of software that provides you with a simple means of converting your favorite audio files to most of the popular audio formats such as MP3, MP4, AAC or WMA.
The main window is very simple and intuitive and enables you to add one or several audio files to the conversion list. You can also add entire folders and sub-directories as well. Then, you are able to set the destination folder and choose the output media format you want to convert your files to.
Although you load entire folders, you have the possibility to check only the audio files you are interested in. For instance, if you load ten audio files but you want to convert two of them to MP3 format and the others to AAC format, you can easily tick the check box for the current song and convert it to the preferred output format.
The ‘Audio format settings’ tab allows you to change the output audio quality, the channels and the sample rate. Navigating to the Miscellaneus tab you are able to check the ‘Keep converter on top’ box if you prefer to monitor the entire process of converting multiple audio files while working with other programs.
What’s more, you can play the selected audio files while converting them to various media formats.
Besides, the application can automatically shut down your computer, so you can let the utility convert entire folders when you leave the PC and close your system when it processes all your files and directories.
