Audioro BlackBerry Converter Description
Audioro BlackBerry Converter is a Windows application whose purpose is to help you convert audio files to formats compatible with your BlackBerry mobile device, such as MP3 and AAC.
GUI needs improvements
The program does not make a very good impression in terms of visual design because it is not clean and well structured. It provides access to a homepage where you can browse throughout the content of the help manual.
Supported file formats
The tool works with several file formats, such as MP3, WAV, WMA, MP4, AVI, MPEG, WMV, VOB, MKV, and FLV.
Conversion tasks
Audioro BlackBerry Converter gives you the possibility to choose between two conversion modes, namely normal and power.
The first one is suitable for less experienced users because it employs a wizard for helping you follow preset steps for configuring the conversion task, while the second gives you the freedom to set up the parameters on your own.
You can select the file that you want to convert using the built-in browse button (there’s no support for drag-and-drop), set the saving directory, provide information about the title, pick the target BlackBerry device from several preset options, as well as choose between different audio profiles like AAC, MP3 and WAV.
What’s more, the utility helps you track the progress of your downloads, set the CPU usage to low, normal or high values, and shut down the computer at the end of the task. You may also configure a folder to be monitored by the application. In case of detecting new clips in the target location, the videos are automatically added to the queue list.
Encoding settings
Audioro BlackBerry Converter allows you to configure your own conversion profile by tweaking the preferred encoder, starting position, encoding duration, AviSynth parameters, and audio options, such as codec, bitrate, number of channels, sample rate, and volume.
Bottom line
The final verdict is that working with Audioro BlackBerry Converter proves to be a bit difficult because of its interface. It is not well organized so you may need extra time to set up the configuration parameters.
