Audio/Video To Exe Description
Audio/Video To Exe is a tool that enables the user to convert audio and video formats to other multimedia extensions and even save the files in executable format. The GUI is intuitive, and you don't have to be an expert to figure out how the software works.
Once you open an audio or video file, you can select to convert it to another similar type. The program supports most popular extensions, including MP3, WAV, AVI, 3GP, MKV, OGG and WMA.
All you are required do is specify a destination folder, and wait for the conversion to finish. This can take from a couple of seconds to many minutes, depending on the size of the source file, and the type of the output file.
In addition, you can use an AVI Muxer to overlap a silent AVI file and an audio file, an ID3 Tag Editor for audio files, a WAV creator, and others. Unfortunately, Direct-Cut and Video Capture were not available in our case.
We tried converting several file types and in some cases, image and sound quality were perfectly maintained. In some cases, though, image quality was seriously reduced, but this happened because of the differences in format compression between AVI and MKV, for instance.
The ability to pack audio and video in executable form is quite handy as the newly created EXE files will play without requiring codecs or standalone players installed.
In conclusion, Audio/Video To Exe proves to be a surprising tool for converting multimedia files as it packs some interesting functions and does its job very well most of the time.
