B2 Logic is a software application that provides users with a simple means of creating electrical circuits, testing and saving them to a file, and comes packed with multiple libraries you can take advantage of.

Minimalistic layout

The installation process is over in a jiffy, while the interface you come across encloses a simple and clean design. It consists of a menu bar, a few buttons and a pane in which to view your on-going project. Although there are no Help contents included, both power and novice users can work with it easily, yet it becomes pretty obvious that some specialized knowledge is needed.

Use multiple built-in libraries or upload your own

As stated above, this utility bundles multiple libraries (generic, LS and standard TTL), so that you can easily create your electric circuits. Nonetheless, you can also add new ones, as long as they come in a LIB or TXT file format.
Regardless of the library you choose, its elements are going to be displayed in the main window in a dedicated pane, and double-clicking them is going to enable you to use them in your projects.

Customization options and saving circuits

Each element supports multiple custom values and parameters, that you can access with just a few clicks. It is possible to also set device delays, calculate the power for your simulation and generate a command TXT file with ease.
You can start or stop your simulation, reset the time, zoom in and out of the circuit, add a text box, highlight wires, flip or rotate elements, and change font type, style, size and color. Last but not least, it is possible to save your circuits to a file for safekeeping or later use, as well as send it to the printer.

To wrap it up, B2 Logic is a pretty handy piece of software for engineers or students which are interested in working with electrical circuits. The environment is intuitive, the response time is good and it is not going to put a strain on the computer’s performance. There are plenty of options to tweak and we did not come by any freezes or hangs.
