BabyPhone Mobile

BabyPhone Mobile is an app that allows you to connect two devices to a mobile baby monitor over the internet (Android smartphones/tablets, Windows XP or higher, Mac OS X 10.8 or higher). It features voice transmission on noise detection and the possibility to send camera pictures on demand. Its range is only restricted by the availability of internet access. One smartphone is the baby unit staying near the sleeping place and the other smartphone acts as receiver. It features: Connection Alarm: Monitors connection status between Sender and Receiver and warns on failure, virtually unrestricted range, battery alarm, audio transmission on noise detection, send voice messages from receiver to sender, easy microphone calibration on sender, and front-facing camera support. The use of smartphones and mobile internet connections might cause disconnects and broken connections from time to time. The App is designed to deal with temporary disconnects by automatically trying to reestablish the connection to the sender or receiver once a disconnect occurs. If it fails to reconnect, the user will be notified. However, to avoid frequent false alarms, connection problems are reported to the user only 15 to 60 seconds after they appeared as the connections can most often be automatically reestablished within this time.
