Backup To EMail

Backup To EMail is a small application that gives you the possibility of quickly backing up files to your Gmail account. It can be seamlessly installed and configured, even by users with less or no experience in software programs.
After a brief installation procedure, Backup To EMail creates an icon in the system tray area from where you can access its features.
So, all you have to do is enter your Gmail username and password information to get started. From this point on, you can open the context menu of any file and select the "Backup to Email" entry to create a copy of the file in question and automatically send it to your Gmail account, for safekeeping.
If you are looking for additional options, then you can access the Advanced area. Backup To EMail supports other email accounts to back up your files to, and you simply need to write the target email address, SMTP outgoing server and other details.
In addition, you can specify a subject prefix, maximum email size, sender and directory to back up files to, compress the file to a ZIP archive before sending it (optionally set a password), as well as schedule a task, among others.
The lightweight tool should not interfere with the runtime of other active processes, as it uses a very low quantity of CPU and system memory. We have not come across any issues throughout our testing; the program did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. All in all, Backup To EMail comes packed with some powerful features to rapidly back up files to a Gmail account.
