Bible Reading Plan Generator Description
Even if you have not read the Bible, you probably know all too well that it is not one of the shorter books out there. Its size alone may discourage potential readers, which is why it is a good idea to create a reading plan before getting started.
Bible Reading Plan Generator is a relatively simple program that, true to its name, enables you to create a plan for reading the various books that make up the Bible. It is likely to prove helpful, but it could use a few improvements.
Plan your reading sessions
Essentially, the application lets you know how many chapters of any given book you need to read each day in order to complete them in a user-defined period. It does this by analyzing the text and splitting it at particular points so that it is distributed evenly over a certain number of days.
Before the program can generate a reading plan, you first need to enter the books you wish to go through and how many days you are prepared to spend reading them. A complete list of books and book lists is available by accessing the Help menu, and you can insert either their names or aliases.
Useful tool that would benefit from a couple of extra features
Sadly, there is no easy way to add the books you wish to read, as you need to consult the provided list and write their names or aliases manually. Given that the main application window is not accessible when the book list is opened, this process is not very convenient.
It would also be great if users had the option of generating a reading plan based on the number of words they have time to read each day rather than the number of reading sessions.
Straightforward tool that can help you create a Bible reading plan
On the whole, Bible Reading Plan Generator is a lightweight and relatively easy-to-use application that enables you to get through any of the books that make up the Bible at your own pace. It does its job quite well, but it could still be improved in a few respects.
