BiScope Description

BiScope is a an educational tool that will allow you to visually explore the relationship between hexadecimal, binary and octal numbers.
BiScope is an educational software that allows you to visually explore the relationship between binary, hexadecimal, octal and decimal numbers. If you do not fully understand these number systems then BiScope will provide almost instant understanding - far quicker than traditional teaching methods. For programmers and others who are already familiar with these number systems, BiScope serves as a base conversion calculator.
BiScope displays one number in four different formats (binary, hexadecimal, octal and decimal). The main role of BiScope is to visually demonstrate how these different number systems relate to each other (for instance, why the hexadecimal number "FF" is equal to the binary number "11111111"). Holding the mouse cursor over any hexadecimal or octal digit provides immediate visual feedback about its relationship with the binary number.
BiScope also serves as a base conversion calculator for programmers and mathematicians.
