BlazeDVD Professional

BlazeDVD Professional is an application that you can use to play media files of various formats, including AVI, DVD, RM, WMV and MOV.
The interface of the software is easy to navigate through. Media files can be imported via the file browser or "drag and drop" method.
So, you can use basic media player tools, such as pause and stop, adjust the volume, switch to full screen mode and navigate back and forth within the clip.
Furthermore, you can jump to a specified time, enable repeat mode, play a DVD from the hard disk, add bookmarks, take snapshots, change the aspect ratio and enable picture-in-picture.
In case of DVDs, you can jump to the root, chapter, title, subtitle, audio or angle menu,  select the subtitle and audio stream, and more.
In addition, you can create playlists, record audio and video, enable auto play, auto run and for BlazeDVD Professional to automatically check for updates online, make file associations, select the 1080p quality and enable hardware acceleration.
On top of that, you can enable the program to automatically switch to full screen mode when playing a video, configure the audio output setting, change the destination folder of recordings, apply parental control, switch to a different language for the interface, and more. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time.
The media player runs on a moderate amount of system resources and has a very good response time. We haven't come across any problems during our tests, since BlazeDVD Professional did not freeze or crash. However, we were unable to access the help file (clicking the option didn't pop up anything). Other than that, we strongly recommend BlazeDVD Professional to all users.
