The setup procedure does not take a long time to finish. As far as the interface goes, Bookmark Boss keeps it plain and simple, adopting a small window with an intuitive structure, where you can add bookmarks by specifying a name, group and link.

In addition, it is possible to organize groups, edit and delete bookmarks and groups, sort them by name, URL, date added or date accessed, as well as to import ready bookmarks from text files, the Clipboard or previously exported Bookmark Boss files.
The program is able to remember the sorting choices and screen position for the next runtime, run at every system startup until further notice, start minimized, as well as to change the path for data files, according to your preferences.

Evaluation and conclusion

The app is undemanding when it comes to CPU and memory, so it does not affect the overall performance of the workstation. There were no stability issues throughout our evaluation, since it did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. However, Bookmark Boss' interface is outdated, and most of its features are pretty basic.
