Calendar Description
Organizing your time isn’t just beneficial with a busy schedule, and even day-to-day activities get enhanced with a well-organized timetable. A calendar is a reliable source for this task, and in case you want to use dedicated tools you can find them all over the web, and Calendar is a suitable example in this regard.
Can be used on the go
For starters, you can run the application to see what it’s all about from the moment download is done, because there’s no setup involved. This also means you can have it stored on a USB flash drive in case you want to use it on other computers, but you need to be sure that the target PC is fitted with .NET Framework for things to go as planned.
As far as the visual design goes, all it has to offer is found in a pretty compact window, with different tabs to provide easy and comfortable access to the list of events, current month, and an overview of the entire year. Functions can be accessed from the upper toolbar, while a double-click operation on a selected day lets you add a new event.
No built-in alarm options
There are a couple of calendar types at your disposal, namely the one for the current month, while the other offers a preview of the entire year. Regardless of the case, you can start a new task through a double-click operation. There aren’t really many details to configure, with all tasks enlisted in the main tab.
These are shown in a table with column headers for date, day, time, as well as the task description. The only downside to the whole operation is that there are no options to set alerts of any kind, so you need to keep your eyes on the list of tasks.
A few last words
All things considered, we can state that Calendar offers a straightforward way to set up a timetable for your events, regardless whether they’re used for personal or business management. You can carry it on a USB flash drive, but you need to check the list every now and then so you don’t miss any important events.
