CellPix

CellPix takes any images and turns them into a single Java file, along with optional textual descriptions as well as a secure viewer for the images. Features include the java midlets that CellPix create run on almost any Java enabled phone, can run on older phones with limited, memory images are only decoded when needed, original images can be JPEG, GIF, PNG, or BMP, images can be automatically thumbnailed beforehand to a given size or the originals used, a sound track can be added for Midp2.0 phones (or that have Midp1.0 plus JSR-135), images can be stored both in the midlet as well as remotely on an http server for smaller midlets, a PIN code can be set so that is required to access the images, inclusion of a one line description for each image which goes into an optional complete index, option to include a further larger text description for each image (see sample below), option to display images one by one or as an automatic slideshow, and user can scroll around images if they are bigger than screen size.
