ChangeRequest.com Screenshot Tool is a Windows app designed to help you capture the full screen, annotate the image, and upload it to the developer's website so you can easily share it with friends. It features several drawing tools and runs in the systray.

After installing and launching the app, it starts minimized to the tray, so you can double-click its icon to capture the screen and open it in the program's built-in editor right away. You can also activate the Ctrl+S+K key combination to capture the image without using the mouse, especially if you're working in a fullscreen application.
The picture's actual size is displayed by default, meaning that you can scroll with the mouse wheel or drag the horizontal and vertical scrollbars to navigate. Otherwise, you can ask ChangeRequest.com Screenshot Tool to fit it to the window.
When it comes to drawing tools, you can draw highlights and arrows, use a pen, add text, crop the image, as well as select the shapes to delete items to copy to the Clipboard. There are also buttons displayed for undoing and redoing actions, and for changing the color of the shapes.

Faulty drawing tools and inconvenient image uploading system

However, these drawing tools haven't been implemented correctly. For instance, the highlight tool doesn't actually draw a rectangular highlight over the picture but a plain and simple rectangle instead. Also, the white background shown while typing text doesn't disappear after adding the caption.
While images can be indeed submitted to the developer's server, this meaning creating a case with the screenshot attached, which makes it inconvenient to use. On top of that, there are no options implemented for saving the screenshot to file or at least copying it to the Clipboard.

Disappointing for a standalone screenshot utility

All things considered, ChangeRequest.com Screenshot Tool is, sadly, nothing more than a freeware application designed to complement the developer's paid software project, because it has little-to-no value on its own.
