Chaos DesktopSync aims to save you all this trouble, since it can automatically sync your data from your PC to your phone and vice versa.

Install the mobile and the desktop apps first

In order to make sure you get to enjoy the functions of this application, you first need to take some to install Time & Chaos or Chaos Intellect to your computer.
Next, you also need to install the Android or iOS mobile apps to your smartphone, depending on the type of data you want to sync (calendar entries, tasks, contacts, billing info).

Connect the mobile and the desktop apps via Wi-Fi

You need to make sure that the handset and the PC are using the same network; even if the computer is connected to the Internet via an Ethernet cable rather than Wi-Fi, the network needs to be the same otherwise the connection will not be established.
Within the main window of Chaos DesktopSync, you can view the address of the host server (along with the port number) that needs to be entered within the dedicated field from the mobile app. A username and a password are also needed, and it goes without saying that these credentials need to match the ones you type on your smartphone.
The final step towards a successful connection is to specify the location of your Chaos data on your computer (by default, it is saved to the Documents folder).

Synchronize calendar entries, tasks and contacts with ease

Due to this application, you can rest assured that whatever entries you create on your computer are also copied to your smartphone without any extra effort on your side (provided Chaos DesktopSync is running).
You only need to establish a successful connection between your PC and your phone, then proceed to create calendar events, contact records or tasks on the device you prefer.
