NoteBook FanControl is a straightforward and useful piece of software designed from the ground up to provide you with the means to control your notebook's fan speed.
Subsequent to its streamlined installation process the app makes its presence known by unobtrusively integrating with your computer's taskbar. Upon first launching the utility, you are greeted by a compact and simplistic main window.

Bundles a small set of configurations for tweaking the fan speed

The upper toolbar is the place from where you can select one of the multiple configurations based on your laptop's maker and model.

Straightforward controls

Please note that in order to start the service, you are first required to choose one of the available predefined configurations. Only then you will be able to enable or disable the fan control service and tweak the fan's actual speed via a simple slider located in middle part of the main window.
The application also provides you with a real-time CPU temperature reading and the current fan speed.

Simple customization features

Regarding customization, you should know that the program can be configured to automatically launch at system startup and to retreat to the tray area once its main window is closed or minimized.
Furthermore, the application also allows you to change the color for its tray icon by simply visiting the Settings section.
