ChrisTWEAK comes in handy when you want to adjust the default settings of your capture device driver so as to improve the overall quality of the streamed videos.

Start by connecting supported capture devices

Before you get to access the graphic user interface (GUI) of this application, you first need to make sure you have connected the devices you want to optimize.
More precisely, you can connect the TV tuner, a video capture device (like a webcam), an MPEG HW encoder or an MPEG HW multiplexer. If no compatible device is detected, the application automatically exits.

Minimalistic, yet feature-packed app

ChrisTWEAK comes with a straightforward interface, and all the functions are neatly organized in relevant tabs, thus making it easier for you to locate them.
If you have connected several compatible devices, you can select the ones you are interested in from the main window of the app, or you can choose the target TV card type from the drop-down menu.
When it comes to the types of optimizations that can be performed using ChrisTWEAK, you can adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation, hue and sharpness. The sound mode and the audio input can also be tampered with only a few mouse clicks.
Depending on the type of selected device, you can also modify various image prefilter settings, such as median or spatial filter, as well as the dynamic temporal filter.

Supports multiple profiles

Another nifty feature of the application is its support for several profiles, especially since you can easily switch between them. You only need to assign every new profile a relevant name so you can identify it easier in the future when you want to apply it once more.
All in all, ChrisTWEAK is a reliable piece of software that allows you to enhance the driver settings of your capture devices even if you do not have expert PC skills.
